SEAWELD-VIKING web site provides an overview of all SEAWELD-VIKINGservices and examples of current and previous projects. The Offshore Base provides accommodation for 165 personnel with workshop facilities, warehousing and office accommodation. The barge also has 15 Tonne and 40 Tonne pedestal cranes suitable for handling fully laden shipping containers. Under the Labour Contract, Seaweld Engineering has provided up to 90 construction personnel on rotation, who work to the company’s own Safety and Quality procedures. Seaweld Engineering is committed to the training of local personnel and three Seaweld Engineering Equatorial Guinean employees have recently achieved qualification as coded welders, the first in the country. Production operation of producing platforms Supported from the PMV Sea Rex, Seaweld Engineering managed the offshore processes of the Addax field. Seaweld Engineeringwas responsible for maintaining all production criteria and reporting daily on all fluids produced, including BS&W, API, pressures, temperatures and flows. All process criteria from the wells to the flare are managed. To effect this, we maintained a 24-hour presence on all producing facilities. A schedule was maintained which progressively identified items of equipment or valves which must be function checked. For example, planned process maintenance ensures that when a valve must open automatically, the actuator works; or that when a fluid level must be maintained in a vessel, the SG calibration for the level controller is still correct. Our production operators and technicians carried out these activities as determined by the schedule.SPM maintenance     D
Offshore of ExxonMobil’s Qua Iboe Terminal in Nigeria there are in excess of 50 platforms ranging from a central complex to gathering stations and satellite platforms. Seaweld Engineering was responsible for the day to day maintenance and repair of these installations. To effect this work we had a work vessel, the MSV Leinetor, permanently assigned to these duties. Our onboard workforce of 26 carried out the multi-disciplined activities necessary to keep the field running. This team also installed plant, equipment, pipework, structures etc.

which had been built at Seaweld Engineering’s fabrication yard in Ibeno, nearby the Qua Iboe Terminal. The welders in this team were coded and frequently carried out modifications to various process pipework systems in the field. A multi-disciplined team of Seaweld Engineering personnel was permanently based on Mobil’s Oso platform to assist with field development. Offshore from Calabar, in Rivers State, Nigeria, lies the Addax field, comprising five platforms. Seaweld Engineering operated the PMV Sea Rex together with a multi-disciplined team carrying out construction related maintenance on these platforms. The work included pipework repairs and replacement, structural repairs and instrumentation breakdown maintenance. Seaweld Engineering has developed a computerised Planned Preventative Maintenance system
